EM for Livestock

EM technology™ offers much scope in this aspect, with proven results in many Regions in Cameroon. The benefits arise from the fact that EM® not only increases productivity, but also animal health and overcomes problems of smells and pollution.

Livestock husbandry is the careful management of livestock by using the right rearing, nutrition, handling, and healthcare methods. EM® products therefore come into these husbandry practices to improve upon the feed conversion rate in animals. This means that EM® products present in feed first of all neutralize any toxic substances in the feed before it gets into the body, increase the digestibility of nutrients and increase assimilation directly into the system; and this helps to influence growth and weight gain. It also builds the immune system of animals. EM totally eliminate mal odour from animal barns and therefore making the environment friendly to both human and livestock species. EM® products go into the system and produce quality animals products e.g. meat, eggs, etc.

Because of the beneficial effect of the products to animals, the livestock will show improved growth and increase in weight gain periodically. EM also reduces the fat content in meat and Mortality rate will be reduced. Birds and animals that consume EM products have natural test of the products.

HOW TO USE EM PRODUCTS FOR LIVESTOCK PRODUCTION.

· EM BOKASHI : Importance

· Detoxifies feed

· Increase the feed consumption of livestock

· Mineralize nutrients in feed and increase the feed conversion rate directly into lean meat.

HOW BOKASHI IS MIXED IN FEED OF ALL ANIMALS

· For large animals bokashi is mixed for big animals at the ratio of 1:10

· For poultry feed is 3kg to 50kg of feed

· Pigs and other animals is 5kg to 50kg of feed

· 1kg to 10kg of roughage like fresh Guatamella and Bracharia, Hay

· Silage making using EM products is very effective

EM FOR LIVESTOCK AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

· This is used as antibiotics and vitamins in all animals.

· It is also use to prevent disease out breaks and to cleans the system from diseases

· The normal rule is that you use 1 cork or 5 mls per liter of water

· For fowls you give 1 cork per 3 liters drinker

· Mix 1 tin tomato cup in 5 liters of chlorine free water to eliminate odour in animal barns.

EM5® FOR PEST CONTROL IN LIVESTOCK

- Mix 40ml or 8corks of EM5® per liter of chlorine free water and spray or wash the animals against ticks, flees, mites, flies and lice infestation.

- For a dip tank use 1 liter into 50 liters of chlorine or chemical free water to dip the animals.

- For serious cases of fungi and foot rot rub EM5® directly on the affected part of fungi or rashes.
