EM for Agriculture

EM® FOR AGRICULTURE

This is the Domain of EM Technology that deals with all crops.  To use EM Technology, one needs to start with EM Compost called “ EM Biological fertilizer and  this is produced either using any farm yard manure or farm  residues or wastes like grass, crop residues like coffee chaffs, cocoa pods, palm wastes, etc and EM helps to keep the hygiene and sanitation of the farm.  The various composts are done under anaerobic conditions. 

 

 EM FOR AGRICULTURE APPLICATION

  • This is the liquid form and is sprayed on the leaves of plants to increase their growth and yields of plants.  It has no adverse condition on the environment and human and is Eco-Friendly.
  • It is sprayed on all crops from vegetables to cash crops.
  • For vegetable EM is sprayed twice a week  to have more leaves
  • Other crops that produce food, end spraying at flowering.
  • Mix 3 tin tomato cups in 15 liters of chlorine free water and spray early in the morning or late in the evening after sunset.

COMPOSTING USING EM® PRODUCTS

Composting is done using EM Bokashi, EM for Agriculture and any wastes as mentioned above.

Composting is a process where by decomposable organic waste are put together in a suitable condition that will enable microorganisms break it down into humus. The type of compost using EM® is anaerobic. This process facilitates the decomposition process and increases the population of beneficial microorganisms necessary for healthy soils and plants growth.

 

EM® Compost:

The main aim of applying EM® compost in the soil include:

  1. Soil Treatment
  2. Bioremediation
  3. Improve the fertility of soils

Apply 1-2 hand full per Stand or sport of plant. The application can be done at spot during planting or ring when the crops are already growing, trench or broadcasted on a ridge depending on the type of crops to be planted. This application is done mostly on vegetables crops and tubers.

For fruits and cash crops, apply one spade of EM® compost per stand at planting or ring when the plant is already growing. After application cover the compost with topsoil or mulch with grass.
